The Sun Reef is located in front of the village of Sint Michiel. The entrance is a staircase on the premises of the diving school Curacao Divers. You have to check in there and take a bottle. The reef has a beautiful 100 meter wide reef roof with many residents and then drops to 40 meters. An attempt is made to establish corals with a structure on the reef roof (biorock). Now very well overgrown. The reef itself can be dived in both directions, but there is occasionally a light current (so start diving against the current). A buoy marks the beginning of the sloping reef.
